Occupying 34 hectares of undulating terrain, nestled amongst the Karri forest just 13 kilometres from Manjimup town centre is Koolama Estate. The vineyard was initially planted in 1999 as a premium grape producer, supplying the majority of the earlier harvests to the Petaluma Wine Group. In 2005, the small syndicate of wine lovers involved in the ownership of Koolama decided to venture into the competitive world of wine production. The Koolama Estate label was then developed for the 2006 vintage.

Since then, the vineyard has continued to remain a grape supplier to various premium labels. With a number of awards received already, which are detailed in our news section, the label has already experienced good success in the short time since it was established. Koolama Estate is aiming to build on this success and to continue to consistently produce excellent fruit.
